ExpressVPN – 9.8
Incredibly fast and ultra secure. HD streaming. 24/7 live chat support.
at expressvpn.com
What we like
Unrestricted Netflix Access
More than 2000 servers in 148 locations
24/7 Customer Support
30 Days Money Back Guarantee
Easy to use software
What we don’t like
Maximum 3 simultaneous connections
Relatively not the cheapest plans
Bottom Line
A top quality VPN which exceeded our expectations in everything from platform support and privacy, to ease of use, unblocking abilities and its excellent support. The limit of three simultaneous connections might be an issue for some, but otherwise, this is a polished, powerful and professional VPN
NordVPN – 9.6
Very fast zero-logs VPN. HD streaming & extra privacy features.
at nordvpn.com
What we like
More than 2500 servers in 56 locations
Unrestricted Netflix Acces
Powerful and User-friendly software
Connect up to 6 devices at the same time
30 Day – money back guarantee
What we don’t like
No live chat Support
Bottom Line
NordVPN offers an exceptional set of functionality, best security standard, a strict “no-logs” policy, nicely designed applications and unbeatable performance. NordVPN has a unique feature called SmartPlay. It unblocks over 150 streaming services by bypassing geo-restrictions. You can access Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and other popular streaming services. One of the newest NordVPN features is the WifiSec – NordVPN will automatically initiate a VPN connection whenever a Wi-Fi network is joined. It can be set up to auto-connect to Nord on both secured and unsecured Wi-Fi networks. This will help users feel more secure when connecting to unknown networks. It really is a no-brainer choice.
CyberGhost – 9.4
Fast zero-logs VPN with great privacy features. Good choice for streaming fans.
at cyberghostvpn.com
What we like
Over 1300 servers in 58 locations
30 day – money back guarantee
Live Chat customer support
Access to Netflix
What we don’t like
May conflict with other VPN clients
Some user interface irritations
Bottom Line
When you add it all up, CyberGhost is a solid service that caters to both newbies and VPN veterans alike. Its quality is even more impressive when you factor in that a few years ago it really wasn’t all that good: that kind of progress is rare among VPNs.
That said, though, there is a reason CyberGhost doesn’t get further than the third place: it doesn’t quite get the ease-of-use and speeds of ExpressVPN or the customizability of NordVPN. However, we can definitely see some users preferring the look, feel and usability of CyberGhost over that of its main rivals.
PrivateVPN – 8.8
Incredibly fast zero-logs VPN. Easy access to major streaming services.
at privatevpn.com
What we like
Netflix Access
More than 80 Servers in 56 locations
Military grade encryption
What we don’t like
Below-average speeds
A limited amount of servers
Bottom Line
PrivateVPN doesn’t make any major mistakes, but it doesn’t excel in any of the core areas, either – it’s not quite fast enough, or powerful enough, or cheap enough to win us over. If you must have a service with native clients and six connection support, it might be interesting; otherwise, look elsewhere.
IP Vanish – 8.5
Super fast zero-logs VPN. Great for P2P. Lots of extra privacy features.
at ipvanish.com
What we like
Variety of security protocols
Very fast installation
Easy to use
What we don’t like
Expensive
Blocked by Netflix
Bottom Line
IPVanish is fast, with a highly configurable app and excellent live chat support to help keep everything running smoothly. But there are some problems, too, and issues with usability and the uncertain locations of a small number of servers are just enough to keep it off the top spot.
